There was the baby bird that had fallen from its nest. The enormous green beetle Araceli was certain looked lonely. The skinny dog who followed her halfway home and stayed for dinner for three days.

There was even a frog.

The frog spent one night in a mixing bowl before Araceli’s mother discovered him the next morning.

They no longer use that bowl for cake.

Then came the kitten.

Her Dream: To become a veterinarian and have a place where no animal is ever turned away because nobody can afford to help it.
