A bird's nest tucked beneath the roof of a building everyone else has walked past a hundred times.
The little path beside the river that wasn't there last spring.

Especially people.
If someone at school is unusually quiet, Amira notices.
If a friend says she's fine but doesn't quite sound fine, Amira notices that too.
