She loves flowers, tiny treasures, and the stories her grandmother tells her. But her greatest fascination begins after sunset. Laleh loves the night sky. She knows where her favorite stars appear and keeps a little notebook filled with drawings of the moon, constellations, and questions she plans to answer someday.
She has a lot of questions.
Why do stars twinkle? How far away is the moon? Does space ever end? And if it doesn't, what's after that?
Someday, Laleh wants to become an astronomer and discover something no one has ever seen before.
For now, she collects wonder wherever she finds it—in flowers woven through her hair, beads threaded onto a bracelet, stories passed through generations, and a sky filled with more mysteries than an eight-year-old could possibly count.
